Sushi burrito place located in the food court of Southcenter mall. They have build your own option as well as premade sushi burritos. I opted to try one of the premade ones (forgot the name), and it was pretty yummy. However the amount of food you get in your burrito seems highly dependent on which staff makes it - my friend's burrito was a lot bigger than mine. Burritos were also pretty pricey, around $18-20. Not somewhere I'd frequent a lot because of the price, but worth checking out.

When you go to Southcenter Mall (aka Westfield Southcenter Mall) in Tukwila as a local, you head to the south side of the mall where all the modern action is. You see the home of the AMC IMAX theaters, all the fun retail stores and anchor restaurants. But you really want to head upstairs to the second floor where all the windows are. Once you get off the escalators, you dodge right. Then you keep walking until you reach IJ Sushi Burrito. Now sushi burritos aren't new, and definitely not a hybrid of the mongo-Mexican-American variety that you see. However, a sushi burrito is more than a big uncut sushi role. It is definitely a self contained meal, and some thing that is tasty. Also, sigh.... this is a chain. However, when you walk into Southcenter Mall, it's okay. It's considered normal. It actually works in this mall as there are many of those of Asian, Hawaiian and Pacific Islander in the mall, and getting an accessible modern take on sushi is a welcome treat. The line was actually moderate and reflective of modern ordering lines for Poke, or even ordering a made-to-order sandwich. But instead of cold-cuts, its your choice of poke tuna, crispy chicken, or something veggie. Because of the its primary product being tuna... yes, you can order a poke bowl. But in my case, I wanted something hand-held today, and something mobile. Now if you are expecting them to cut the burrito in to several little slices, ain't gonna happen, the staff will only cut the burrito in half (or else the contents fly all over the place). But not to worry, just go with it. Don't forget to ask for soy-sauce on the side, and don't forget that your soda's are in a can with some Hawaiian-based flavored drinks and lots of Pepsi products. As a pro-tip, Do look at the menu BEFORE you jump into the line so as not to cause delays in service. It's easy to tell why IJ Sushi Burrito is a hopping little place in the Southcenter foodcourt!

I had to walk the food court a couple times before I settled on trying this spot. It had no line when I stopped by and the guy who made the order was pretty helpful. We ended up getting a bowl and a burrito. The bowl was so so, I think could be tastier with different sauces however the portions were fantastic for the fish, I even second guessed myself on if maybe I should order less LOL. I wish there were more sides added to the bowl without having to ask for more. However, the burrito was delicious and everything about it was just right. I especially appreciated that the menu let you know what was gluten free and what wasn't. I hadn't stopped by this mall in a very long time since we live far but I'll have to remember this place next time I want some poke for the burrito.

I highly recommend checking out Sushi Burrito inside South Center's food court. I ordered the California Roll and it was super filling. The burrito pairs perfectly with the eel sauce. It was busy when I came but the food was still made quickly.

Friends have been eating here forever but I've been skeptical.. cause sushi in the mall....? Finally I got to try it and omg it was sooo yummy I had to go back and get my own one!! Got the dancing salmon with unagi sauce... every bite is fresh, savory/ umami and it all just went so well together!! I always hesitate when I see "salmon poke" because I don't like the spicy flavor (I can eat spicy but I just don't I like that flavor for poke, siracha mayo etc) but the salon didn't have that taste here! Or the other stuff covered it well It's $16 for a roll which feels a bit pricey for something so small but it's protein, veggies, carbs all in one!

My daughter and enjoyed the poke bowl! We were able to get the type of protein (tuna, salmon, etc) and pick the veggies with them. It was so easy to order and select what you want. The kitchen area and where they prepare the food is clean. The server who prepped our bowl was not welcoming, but other than that, we enjoyed the food.

I've been here multiple times and it's a healthier, fresher alternative to other mall foods. I like the bowls the most because you can get a hefty portion if you choose a lot of toppings/veggies, which are unlimited. I like to get the fish eggs, edamame, corn, carrots, onion, and seaweed salad. I also want to mention their crispy onion topping is amazing, because they stay crunchy even after you mix everything together. There's only two sauces: spicy Mayo and eel sauce. They used to put the sauce on for you but in my most recent visit, the sauce came in a separate container so you can control the amount used. My only complaint is I wish there was more flavor. It's all pretty bland and I'd like a more complex flavor profile. The spicy Mayo is spicy and the eel sauce is sweet but that's sort of it, imo
